Yes, that's right, Super Bowl was on Monday. The ship did it up big, showing the game on a huge screen in the Queen's Lounge (where all the shows are). They had banners all over and served hamburgers, hotdogs and guacamole. Mel enjoyed the game. Sorry the picture is a bit blurry. Something is up with my camera.
I, on the other hand, spent most of the day in our cabin. I awoke with a scratchy throat and felt worse as the day wore on. I had room service for dinner and went to sleep early. Didn't want to miss going out at our next port, Vanuatu. I need to go tell the jewelry store that it was their fault for stuffing us all in such a small space.
The day before we had a tour of the bridge. We just had to ask at the front desk and that evening we had an invitation for the next day. There were about 15 of us. Very interesting. It's amazing how they can maneuver a large ship like this. They dock better than we do in our little boat!
